Fox Trot Farm is small intimate Equine Facility located on thirty plus acres in the heart of beautiful horse country in Fauquier County just 5 miles South of Warrenton, VA.  We keep a fairly small amount of boarders at our facility.  We are an all breed, all-discipline horse boarding, training and sales facility providing exceptional care at affordable prices. The stable owner has over 30 years of experience with horses and resides on the property for 24 hour security and availability. Visitors are always welcome. Please contact us (by phone or e-mail) to arrange a tour of the facility or to discuss your individual needs.

My vision and goal in building this facility was to provide a safe and fun environment for myself and others to enjoy our life long passion for horses.  You can never know too much about anything, especially horses.  This is why Fox Trot Farm will be hosting periodic seminars and clinics to continually educate myself and others about the fascinating world of horses.  These exciting learning events will feature some of this countries premier equestrian professionals.  Please check back periodically on our website for upcoming events.  We hope you can join us:-)  Deana Travis, Owner

The facility features top of the line Stockade brand steel construction. Our lighted indoor arena measures 80' by 152' with sand and recycled rubber footing. In addition to being able to ride during the winter months and during rain showers, the shade of the indoor arena is very welcome in the hot summer months. Numerous skylights keep the facility bright all day.

¯Interesting Fact:  Our Building is Environmentally Sensitive with Solar Powered Electricity and Solar Powered Water Heater. (click here to learn more)

Our facility was featured on the front page of the Business section of the Fauquier Times Democrat on 10/03/06.  Click here to read the article.

We have two extra large bay doors and fans providing great ventilation. Comfortable matted box stalls are 12’ by 12' in size, each with interlocking rubber mats and heated automatic waterers. 10 of our Stalls have 16x12 individual paddocks out the back for extra space for your horse.  Stalls are located on both sides of a 12' wide aisle. Sliding stall doors keep the aisle clear, safe, and accessible.  Hay is stored in separate part of the building away from the horses for safety.

Individual fans in each stall provide excellent air flow and cooling in summer months. The perimeter of the property is fenced for safety and security. The 15 stalls and indoor arena are located under one roof. During inclement weather, you can stay warm and dry from the time you enter the facility.

Two 10x12 grooming stalls are located next to the large heated tack room. These individual stalls are provided for grooming and saddling horses. This eliminates the need to cross-tie horses in the aisle. The grooming stalls have electric outlets for clippers. The locked tack room has individual sections for eachview larger image boarder and plenty of room for saddles and tack. A dehumidifier operates during humid summer months to protect the leather stored there if needed.

The two indoor 12x12 wash stalls have hot and cold running water, lights and warming lamps. A handicap accessible restroom is located inside the facility with a washer and dryer. A heated and air-conditioned lounge is equipped with a kitchenette complete with refrigerator, microwave oven, table and chairs, sofa, and TV with DVD/VCR. Horse trailer parking is provided free of charge.

Our fenced outdoor arena measures 110' by 220' with excellent sand and bluestone footing. Both arenas are large enough for several horses to be ridden at the same time.  Both arenas have PVC jumps.  We also have a 60’ round pen for training. Our horses have fresh water (each field has an automatic watering system), ample run-in space, salt and mineral blocks available at all times. We provide excellent quality Timothy/Orchard grass hay at all times during the winter months or as needed. Our field-boarders enjoy complete use of the facilities.

Our vet is Dr. Jana Froeling with Full Circle Equine Service. She offers a holistic alternative approach to healing for your horse. She also offers chiropractic and acupuncture services as well as conventional veterinary medicine. We have 24 hour service, 7 days a week.

Because Fox Trot Farm is home to all breeds and disciplines, there is no competition among boarders. We are home to a really great group of people involved in all types of showing; pleasure and trail riding, saddle seat competitions, hunter/jumper, polo, 3-day eventing, endurance riding and dressage. Our facility is never closed to our boarders. Once you become a member of our family, you are welcome at the barn whenever you want to visit your horse.

We hope you will consider making Fox Trot Farm your home when choosing a place for your family member!
